WIP-Project YJ+Simon

Head piece for Ms BTB, YJ, on her Big Day~~>Done!

It could be paired with a ivory satin ribbon as a headband around the head (will match perfectly with a bun up hair!) or used as a hair clip on the right side of the hair.

Let me know what you think about it after showing it to your makeup artist ya?=)

Peacock madness!

The topic says it all. i fell in love with peacock feathers and continued to make a charm with it!
FABULOUS~

a closer look~~Crafted with natural peacock feathers, guinea feather and satin ribbon, paired with an antique gold (sweet nevertheless!) cute lass charm~(This was originally a Lass & Lad charm, but i broke them apart as they also stood out charmingly when used individually~, if there's anyone who's interested in buying this design with the lad charm, pls tell me!)

Personally, i paired this charm with a long antique gold chain, but you're also welcome to order it as a brooch=)

Project QiaoYun's hatchday

The past week was spendulous~ having no worries about waking up late for work, no stress about finishing my workroom projects after work and no need to constant worry for the problems at work ( i used to constantly think about my problems at work even on off days~~).....aaah~~~~LIFE !! Suddenly, i had so much time to appreciate the things around me, admire the sun rays...thinking about NOTHING, drooling about my future possible projects, and dreaming..about dreams..how wonderful! AND i actually allocated my first 15~30 min of my morning to do Quiet Time with God, amazing huh, for someone as lazy as me! HAHA

Ok back to the originally planned topic.

All these free time really had me thinking about my family. They're really great people but sad to say it's really quite difficult to express affection in a typical chinese family. We're all too shy i guess =x ESPECIALLY my dear brother, which i regretted not spending more time understanding him MORE.

And so, since QiaoYun's(his girlfriend) birthday is coming, i decided to craft something for her=) Weird that I've never given her something that I hand made even though we actually knew each other for 5 years! Sry bro! >3<

It's a single sided earring made with midnight blue and black goose feathers, black satin ribbon, polka dots guinea feathers with a touch of blue clay rose and a chain of sweet gold bear charm at the ends~~

She's a really sweet gal, i think she'll look pretty dangling it keke

While crafting this, i actually fell in love with this design that i couldn't help making one for myself toooo =p So, i made another one below for myself using bleached peacock feathers, polka dots guinea feathers, black satin ribbon and end it with my favourite sweet gold kitty charm=)) Swweeeett~~
Happy hatchday girl!!

Next family project: my mum!

Project Farewell II

This marks the end of my 2 and 10 mths of youth contributed to this special company...and as an appreciation for my colleagues' help for these past 2 yrs +, i came up with a special farewell pressie for them- name tags! Just what they need to help them get identified by many operators and suppliers!

For those who often went for overseas business trips, you can even use the name tags as luggage tags!
I shall keep mum about the actual materials used, just a brief introduction of my tags, they're made of hardy plastic materials and individually hand drawn by me! Each card is uniquely personalized and tied with a black satin ribbon~

No doubt it IS tiring drawing for 50++ people, but it was fun observing my colleagues for the past one month for their face's characteristics~ It definitely helped me engrave their faces in my memory =]There were a total of 2 designs for this project. One is a horizontal 10cm x 7cm card and another is a vertical 4.5cm x 6cm card, both completed with a black satin ribbon tied to a corner. The above design is specially made for my colleague, Sugino san in Japan=]
Another one of my Japanese colleague, Fujimoto san is also so kind to send me photos of my gifts taken with him! Great photography skills i must say!

As for the rest of my colleagues in Singapore, I tortured them and made them pose with my name tags individually buahaha!

My heartfelt thanks to all of you who has made my worklife colourful!!

And Hallo~~ to a brand new start of my life=]
