Project Farewell I

Sorry for the slow and short updates recently, have been busy settling some private stuffs lately and simply has no extra time to continue on with other projects on hand. (but rest assured my dear BTBs, your projects will still be on time ^_^;;;)

For some people who may be interested in Ms Brown Eyes’ personal life, I will be formally quitting my full time unrelated job from April 2010 onwards and concentrating full time on my workroom stuffs and of course, my studies of dressmaking, in the hope that a skilled seamstress can join in the team in the near future.

And so, this brings us to the project this time which is my own farewell project and basically what I’ve been busy about lately.
Part I of the project has already been mailed overseas to my sweet Japanese colleagues who have been helping me for the past 2 yrs+ +, proud to introduce these 3 new items into my catalogue~
Flower appliqué crafted with white chiffon and pearls, accompanied by midnight blue goose feathers, black duck feathers, polka dot guinea feathers and Ivory Cream Coque Saddle feathers.

A charm for 清水さん:

And a brooch for 江上さん:

Well Part II of my project farewell will only be updated in end Mar since I may have colleagues following my blog=v=

WIP- Project Jing+Liam update

New updates about Jing+Liam’s wedding which i’ve been so lazy to blog about since i got the photos from the bride=v=

Well well, it’s not exactly my project to begin with, it’s an old princess style ballroom gown which the bride managed to grab for just $250 from an old bridal boutique which is about to be closed down. Like I said, i helped with almost anything~ so under the request of the eager bride, we began to rummage through our limited brain storage for some interesting ideas to revamp the gown.

In the end, i decided to slice it down to a sideway slope for that extra surprise element with the help of our experienced seamstress =]

Stay tuned for the turn out of this adorable frock at the actual day and photoshoot=)
